Welfare Providers

The organisations below all provide non-judgemental and supportive welfare services at festivals across the UK.

The Loop

The Loop are a non-profit social enterprise who provide the UK’s first and only drug safety testing service at festivals. They also provide welfare and harm reduction services at nightclubs, festivals and other leisure events.

Chill Welfare

Chill Welfare CIC was established as a social enterprise in 2015 in response to drug related deaths at music events and the changing trends in the use of alcohol, poly drugs, club drugs and legal highs.

Festival Welfare Services

Festival Welfare Services is a national registered charity which works with a bank of over 350 experienced professional volunteers. These come from a range of backgrounds from drug and alcohol workers, to CPN’s, RMN’s and staff nurses; to social workers and people who care deeply about people's wellbeing.

National Event Welfare Service

NEWS has been providing caring support by experienced and understanding professional staff to festivals nationally for over 20 years. They offer support at all levels including: the care of children & vulnerable adults; harm reduction advice & support around drugs/ alcohol and mental health; and provide a safe space to disclose abuse, self harm, or sexual and/or violent assault.

Psycare

PsyCare UK is a charity who work to provide welfare services at festivals. They focus on support for people having difficult drug related experiences and work alongside traditional first aid providers to relieve strain by providing specialised care.

The Samaritans

Samaritans Festival Branch attend around 18 festivals throughout the UK each summer to offer emotional support to those who need it.

Tiger Tea Welfare

TTK Welfare provides support at events to attendees who find themselves in trouble or distress and need a safe and secure place to turn for help.
